Meet your dentists
Rory Sharp, DDS
A native of Oklahoma, Dr. Rory Sharp started having aspirations to become a dentist at the ripe age of four years old when he first witnessed his own dentist treating his family’s teeth. His drive steered him to the Army Dental Corps at the age of 17 to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a dentist. After two years of serving as a dental assistant and a dental hygienist, Dr. Sharp applied for and was awarded the highly-coveted Army Green to Gold Scholarship to attend Kansas State University.
After graduating with a B.S. in Biology, he attended the University of Washington School of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He continued his dental education by attending a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Fort Jackson, SC. After seven years of moving around for the US Army, Dr. Sharp is excited to establish roots and serve a community that continues to serve others.
Jessica Sharp, DMD
Dr. Jessica Sharp grew up in a small town in Massachusetts with her parents and younger brother. She is married to Dr. Rory Sharp, and together they have two precious children.
While in high school, Dr. Jessica accompanied her mom, who managed a dental practice, to work. From day one, she felt “at home” in the practice and knew she’d found her calling. She decided to forge her path toward a dental degree by becoming a dental assistant at age 16.
Dr. Jessica then attended the Yankee Dental Congress in Boston, where she met an Army recruiter. She realized the Army could help with her education and provide an opportunity to give back to her country. Little did she know the Army is where she would meet her future husband!
Tyler Strom, DDS
Born and raised in Albany, Georgia, Dr. Strom is proud to serve patients in his home state. His passion for dentistry was inspired early on by his father, a skilled dental lab technician, and his grandfather, who was a dedicated dentist. Their example sparked his interest in the dental field and laid the foundation for his commitment to patient care.
Dr. Strom earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Georgia Southern University, where he also completed minors in Chemistry and Business. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Dental College of Georgia in 2022.
After dental school, he returned to Albany to care for his local community, practicing in Albany and the surrounding areas for three years. In 2025, he relocated to Fernandina Beach and joined the team at Sharp Smiles in St. Marys, where he’s happy to continue providing high-quality dental care to Georgia families.
Dr. Strom is a certified Invisalign® provider and is committed to staying current in the field through continuing education. He has completed multiple advanced courses in implant placement and restoration, allowing him to offer a wider range of treatment options to his patients. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Your aligners are crafted to fit your teeth perfectly. We'll show you how to wear and care for them so your treatment can stay on-track.

Wear and
Progress
Wear your aligners 20-22 hours a day. You'll switch to a new set every 1-2 weeks, which will gradually move your teeth into position.

Show Off Your New Smile
Once treatment is complete, we'll check your results and provide retainers. We'll help you maintain your beautiful new smile with simple, long-term care instructions.
